Joseph & Cohen Adds Bitcoin as Payment Option for Clients

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – January 10, 2014.   Joseph & Cohen, Professional Corporation, a San Francisco based law firm, announced today that the firm is now accepting Bitcoin as a legal services payment option for approved clients. The addition of this payment option coincides with the firm’s core focus on banking and financial services and supporting clients in connection with complex issues in the financial sector.

Jonathan Joseph, Joseph & Cohen’s Managing Partner states, “With the bitcoin economy continuing to evolve into a potentially significant payment and financial tool, we have decided to accept Bitcoins (BTC) as payment for legal services.”

Clients interested in paying for legal services with Bitcoin will be pre-approved by the Firm in much the way a Bank underwrites new customers.  Mr. Joseph noted, “While we know that many banks are wary of bitcoin businesses, given our core expertise with money transmission, banking and venture capital, we are comfortable with the decision. We look forward to working with digital currency entrepreneurs and VC’s in connection with private equity investments and state and federal legal and compliance issues.”

Joseph & Cohen, Professional Corporation, is a Financial Services and Litigation Boutique headquartered in San Francisco that emphasizes complex banking, corporate and financial services matters, regulatory and bank enforcement defense, private equity, bankruptcy and insolvency, employment and commercial litigation services.  Joseph & Cohen is known for sophisticated expertise, extraordinary commitment to clients, relationship-based services, and a range of specialized skills typically found only in the largest American law firms.

  1. I’ve been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any
interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me.
In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you
did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.

  2. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this,
like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive
the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is
fantastic blog. A fantastic read. I will certainly be back.

  3. Greetings from California! I’m bored at work so I decided to browse your site on my iphone during lunch break.
I love the information you provide here and can’t wait to
take a look when I get home. I’m amazed at how fast your blog loaded
on my mobile .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow,
    wonderful blog!
